Head of Secondary School

Many students saw success in the pool on Tuesday at the Swimming Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. The Girls Champion was Holly Smith (Yr 9) and the Boys Champion was Xander Halfen (Yr 11). More

Year 8

On Tuesday we travelled out to SOPAC for the annual Swimming Carnival. After many well fought races, McDouall was able to secure their first swimming carnival victory in eight years. More

Year 7

What an exciting first full week of school it has been for Yr 7! There has been a lot of energy and enthusiasm this past week, as Yr 7 immersed themselves figuratively into their lives at Redlands and literally into the pool at SOPAC during the Secondary School Swimming Carnival. More

Head of Junior School

In our assembly this week, I read a story to the students entitled, What do you do with a Problem? written by Kobi Yamada. The book helps to scaffold how to approach challenges that we come across. More

Head of Preparatory School

Don’t forget that our K-2 Meet the Teacher evening will be held this afternoon from 5pm-6pm in Grade rooms. The Prep staff are looking forward to meeting you all and sharing information that will be helpful to begin our year together. More

Redlands House and Transition Gold

We are still seeking Class Parents for the Redlands House Junior classes. The key function of the role is to coordinate social activities for your preschool class to build a strong and positive Redlands community.  More

Secondary Sport

It was great to get out and about to a number of basketball games across the weekend, with the 1st Girls getting up in a close match against Barker College which will put them in good stead for the Finals series ahead. More

Junior Sport

Students, both new and returning must be congratulated for both their enthusiasm and their diligence in following the numerous tasks required of them in these last two weeks, in particular during our first week of Wednesday sport. More

Ballet and Dance

The Ballet and Dance Academy is off to a great start! Teachers have been thrilled by the energy and focus from every student in all classes and can’t wait to see everyone in the coming weeks arriving with the correct uniforms and hair tidy. More

Drama and Theatre

Louise Colin has been accepted into the NYU Tisch School of the Arts starts in August and will begin her Degree in Drama Performance. More

Music

The year is off and racing! Students have met their teachers, discussed learning topics, launched projects and activities and we're fast finding our 'groove' for what promises to be a great year to come. More
