Interesting Article of the Week

Please read

Next week we are off to Camp in Kangaroo Valley with the organisation OEG.

I am aware that some students are feeling a bit nervous about the week but I am confident they will return on Friday with many happy stories to tell, having increased their resilience, independence, teamwork skills and self esteem. I am also confident that they will have developed new friendships that will last throughout and beyond their time at Redlands. Over the years I have sent my own children to Camp, often hearing complaints and tears as I have dropped them off at the school bus. However, they have always returned with a smile on their faces and a sense of achievement that has improved their self esteem.

Camp

Buses will leave the Junior Campus at 7.00am sharp on Monday, so please ensure your child is at the Junior School Oval at 6.30am, as the Camp leaders will need to check everyone is present and make sure everyone is on the correct bus.

Pastoral Care and Social Awareness Program

This week students have only had one Tutor Group session and have spent the time completing their gender inequality project for Term 1.

Have a great last week of term with a quiet household as your child is away spending the time with us!
