Year 9
Happy Holidays
Best wishes to all Yr 9 students and families for a safe and happy mid semester break. Students are encouraged to find time for family, study, exercise and friends over the two week period. Please ensure that summer uniforms are checked for length as students will have grown over the winter months. Your assistance with this is greatly appreciated.

Greenlands Competition Winners
Congratulations to McDouall Green for winning the Greenlands Film Competition. McDouall Green created a film on the theme of paper recycling relating to the new initiative of blue paper recycling bins installed around the School. As the winners, they were rewarded with a pizza party during Monday Tutor Time. A big thank you to Ms Naoko Abe for all her assistance with students and the creation of their video.
Winter School
Assistant Year Advisor, Mr Nick Walker, had the pleasure of visiting Yr 9 at Winter School last week. He was impressed to see the Yr 9s not only shredding up the Spring snow at Thredbo, but also putting effort into their class work in the afternoon lessons and using the prep time wisely to complete Assessment Tasks. In between lessons and prep time, Mr Walker enjoyed watching the Yr 9 students washing and cleaning up after breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hopefully they can take these new skills home after Winter School ends this week!
