Year 9

Welcome back to yet another exciting and busy term. We warmly welcome Ms Abby Walker to the Yr 9 team who will replace Ms Vanessa Wang whilst she is on long service leave. Abby has exceptional pastoral experience, and we look forward to her enthusiasm as we begin Semester 2.

This week, Tutors will have one to one Connection Conversations to prepare students for Semester 2. These conversations will be student led and will provide students with the opportunity to articulate their goals for the semester.

Winter Uniform

Students are required to return to school this term in their Winter School Uniform. On normal school days, and for all official or formal occasions, when travelling to and from School, when on excursion or when involved in any activity associated with the School, students will wear full school uniform as set out below.

Sport Uniform

The Redlands Sport Uniform is to be worn:

  • For all PDHPE (Practical) classes
  • For all Redlands Sports Carnivals
  • For Thursday Sport Day

The Sport Uniform is not to be worn at any other time. On days other than Thursday, if students have PDHPE during the day or training before/after school, they need to utilise the change rooms. Details about getting changed for PE lessons and Sport training can be found on page 21 of the Student Planner. When engaging in PDHPE lessons, Sports Carnivals and Sport training, the correct Sport Uniform needs to be worn. Hooded sport tops (basketball, netball, football, etc) are not permitted at school and should not be worn as part of the Redlands Sport Uniform. A fleece may be worn as part of this Sport Uniform.
