Year 8
Examination Week
A very short update this week as Yr 8 have spent the majority of the week in Redlands Hall completing their end-of-year examinations.
We have been thoroughly impressed this week by the effort all students have put into this exam block. Arriving on time, the use of the pre-exam study time and their adherence to exam conditions has been outstanding. I have said to them a number of times this week that a high standard has been set and they have been living up to it daily.
Well done Yr 8!

Catch-up Examinations
If your student missed an exam this week due to illness or misadventure there is an opportunity to complete the catch-up next Tuesday 7 November. I will send your student an email on Monday to confirm the exam/s that need to be caught up and the rooming.
Getting Marks Back
The time post exam blocks can also be stressful as students await and start to receive their results.
If you are interested, I have recently come across an article from Atomi (I have used this with my senior students) that provides some mindset advice on helping students deal with getting marks back post examinations. Please see this link for further reading.
