Year 8

Athletics Carnival

Last Thursday we made the trip out to Sydney Olympic Park and engaged in the annual Secondary School Athletics Carnival. Participation among Yr 8 students was exceptional and added to the great sense of community and atmosphere felt on the day.

Some of the notable achievements include:

• Under 13 Boys Age Champion AND Junior Divisional Champion – Robbie Smith
• Under 14 Girls Age Champion – Amelie Dewar
• Under 14s Girls Runner Up – Ava Atkinson

Congratulations to the Cowper House who were the overall winners on the day.

CIS XC Championships 

Last Thursday, Redlands had 10 runners represent ISA at the CIS XC Championships at the Sydney Equestrian Centre. Congratulations to Isaac Brooks who finished 8th place in the 17 Years 6k and Imogen Howard who finished 7th in the 15 Years girls 4k. Both Isaac and Imogen will now represent Redlands at the NSW All Schools XC Championships at the Sydney Motorsport Park on Friday 21 July. 

Well done to the following ISA Representatives for their participation in the CIS XC Championships:

• 12 girls – Matilda Hugman 38th
• 12 girls – Elisabella Ty 52nd
• 14 girls – Isobel Campbell 51st place
• 15 girls – Amber Kusano 50th place 
• 12 boys – Angus Baird 30th place
• 13 boys – Finn Gurney 27th place
• 14 boys – Tom Brown 22nd place
• 15 boys – Otto Ross-Sampson 18th place
