Senior Swimming Carnival Results 

Well done to all Yr 8 students who attended and participated in the Senior Swimming Carnival last Thursday at the Sydney International Aquatic Centre. It was wonderful to see so many of our cohort embracing house spirit and supporting one another throughout the day. 

Congratulations to the outstanding swimmers from Year 8 who received Age Champion and Runner-Up Champion:

Senior Athletics Carnival

Next Tuesday, the Senior Athletics Carnival is taking place at Sydney Olympic Park. Yr 8 are to meet at 7am in Dunnet Hall to have their name marked off ready to catch the bus. It would be great to see all of our amazing Yr 8 cohort attending and participating! 

Friday Afternoon Athletics Training 

Friday Afternoon Athletics Training takes place every Friday afternoon at Balmoral Oval from 3:30–5pm. The training sessions are run by Mosman Athletics Club, and are open to all levels of ability. These sessions give students the opportunity to focus on the fundamentals of running which can be used for other sports; it’s also a great mindfulness activity that allows students to switch off from their studies after a big week and socially connect with each other. Sprints, Middle Distance, Jumps and Throws are on offer to students who attend the training. Training will continue until the end of Term 2, and throughout all of Term 3. With the Athletics Carnival coming up next Tuesday, this is a good opportunity to learn or refine new skills for any of the Athletics events.
