Year 8
Congratulations to everyone for their participation and success at this year’s Redlands Athletics Carnival. It was a fantastic day with some outstanding results across all events. Dumolo won the House Cup, however, there was not a huge difference in points, especially when looking at participation. Thank you to all of the staff who helped make it such a fantastic day, and most importantly, the Sports Department whose tireless work ’behind the scenes’ never goes unnoticed. Congratulations on your fine efforts Yr 8.
Kyle Banfield (and Sebastian Tang Yr 7) have both been working on a series being produced by Beyond Productions called Wow, That’s Amazing (a children’s Science TV series) which has been shooting in various suburbs all around Sydney over the past year. Kyle and Seb have been filmed acting out a number of Science experiments with other children, then preparing voice-overs in a sound studio afterwards. The series will be first aired in Germany later this year, it’s not due to be released in Australia until mid 2019 on the ABC. Kyle has had so much fun with this project and has learnt a lot!
