Year 7
Athletics Carnival
What a fantastic day! The Secondary School Athletics Carnival is a significant event in the calendar and brings each House together. This carnival always fosters an incredible sense of Redlands community, teamwork and school spirit.
Well done to everyone who participated in these events from Sprints to Javelin and Long Jump. All students had the opportunity to showcase their sporting abilities and experience the thrill of competition in a supportive environment. Beyond the physical benefits, an athletics carnival helps build resilience, perseverance and a positive attitude toward challenges. It also provides a platform for students to interact across different age groups and cultural backgrounds, enhancing social skills and fostering inclusivity. Overall, the Athletics Carnival is a celebration of effort, determination and camaraderie, contributing to the holistic development of students.
Well done to everyone involved in the organising, running and participation in this event.
Hot Chocolate – Chat and Connect
Last Friday Cowper and Roseby had the opportunity to connect on the Roof Top Garden and share a Hot Chocolate together. It was so nice for all the students to have some time together outside of the classroom.

Final Day of Term
As we approach the final day of the term, we want to encourage everyone to stay focused and finish strong. Here are a few important reminders to help us all maintain our high standards and ensure a smooth end to the term.
Uniform Reminder: Stay Smart and Warm!
With the weather getting colder, it’s important to make sure our uniform standards don’t slip. Students should wear their blazers and navy school woollen jumpers to stay warm. Please remember that fleeces are not part of our uniform. Looking smart helps us feel smart and ready to tackle the last days of the term with pride.
All students are required to wear their Blazer to the End of Term Assembly of the final day of term, Friday 28 June.
Respecting Our Community: After-School Guidelines
We love seeing our students socialising and enjoying time together after school. However, due to end-of-term fatigue and a natural drop in self-management, we ask that social activities take place in the comfort and safety of someone’s home under parental supervision. This helps everyone stay safe and respectful of our community. Please note that students will not be allowed to visit local shops after school during the final week of the term.
Thank You, Parents!
A big thank you to our wonderful parents for your continued support. To help students stay energised for their after-school activities, please ensure they have ample snacks packed in their bags for afternoon tea. Your efforts in keeping them fuelled and focused are greatly appreciated.
Let’s work together to finish the term on a high note! Keep up the great work, stay warm, and enjoy the final days of the term.
