Year 7

Examination Feedback

Next week, students will start receiving their exam papers and results back. Yr 7 is very much about students’ learning assessment expectations and exam technique. We are encouraging students not to focus on the results but to see this exam period as a time of learning and an opportunity for growth. Please engage in supportive conversations with your son or daughter as inevitably there may be some instances of disappointment. We are encouraging Yr 7 to carefully read feedback or to speak with their teacher for further clarification in areas where they need help.

Yr 7 Volunteering in the Junior School

A number of Yr 7 students and Tutors, Mr Gooding, Ms Wilson and Ms Abe attended the Junior School earlier this week to support our Yr 6 students in the Inquisitive Minds Mathematics Competition. It was wonderful to see this cross-grade interaction and Yr 7 appreciated the opportunity to give Maths expertise and time in our Junior School.

Redlands Ballet and Dance Academy End of Year Performance

Each year, students and families look forward to the Redlands Ballet and Dance Academy End of Year Performance. This is always an amazing, high-quality school event and this year we have a number of Yr 7 dancers performing. We encourage your attendance and support of our Yr 7 dancers. Tickets are available via the following link and the dates for the performances area as follows; Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 November at The Concourse, Chatswood.
