Yr 12 Study Sessions June/ July School Holidays – IB and HSC

Yr 12 Students will have the opportunity to attend subject specific holiday workshops during the June/ July School holidays. These workshops will run during Weeks 1 and 3 (please note – no workshops during Week 2). Students can access the full timetable on iLearn on the Yr 12 Pastoral Page under notices. 

Week 1: IB – Dance
Week 1: HSC – Dance, Drama, Textiles and Design
Week 3: IB – Chemistry, Geography, English HL, English Literature, Physics, History, IB English Essay, Visual    Arts, Maths IA HL, English Language and Literature
Week 3: HSC – English Adv & Std, PDHPE, English Adv Modules A, B & C & common module, Chemistry, Spanish Continuers, Biology, Economics, Physics, Visual Arts and Dance

Yr 12 House Spirit Fair – Request for Second Hand Book Sale

In preparation for the House Spirit Fair, Yr 12 is undertaking a used-books drive. Please encourage your children to bring in books they no longer read or want. Students can drop off their contributions to the Student Services Centre in the John Roberts Building during Tutor Time and these will be sold at the fair. Students who donate books will receive free tickets to spend at any of the stalls at the fair on Tuesday 8 June (Week 8).

ISA XC Carnival

Last Wednesday 26 May, Redlands participated in the ISA Cross Country Carnival at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. Overall, our boys achieved 2nd place out of 16 schools who participated. The girls, achieved 3rd from 11 schools overall. Both are great results. Participating in the 18 Years Boys six kilometre run: Felix Abrahams (8th); James Barrelle (14th) and Theo Mirrlees-Black (46th). Running in the 18 Years Girls six kilometre event: Emma Mahon (1st Place), Olivia Donoghue (10th), Rachel Kinghorn (16th). In addition, a number of students qualified on the day for the CIS XC Carnival, which will take place on Thursday 10 June at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek: Felix Abrahams, Olivia Donoghue and Emma Mahon. Congratulations to all of our students.

Yr 12 Visual Arts

Our Yr 12 Visual Artists in both the IB and HSC programs are working diligently to complete their Body of Works. Please view the images of a small sample of the HSC Body of Works in progress.

Secondary School Photos 

All students are required to be well-presented in full school uniform, including blazers. Students to bring their student ID cards to each photo for efficient scanning and identification.
