Secondary School Individual Portraits Catch Up Date

Friday 26 March

Any Secondary School student who was absent for their individual portrait photo on 5 March can attend a catch up opportunity on Friday 26 March at 10.10am and 1.00pm in the Learning Hub classroom LH 2.2.

All students are required to be wearing their full school uniform, including blazers. Boys must be clean shaven with hair that has been cut so that it is away from eyes, ears and collar. Girls with hair touching the collar should tie it back with navy accessories (elastics, ribbon, scrunchies). No hair dye, make-up or nail polish is permitted. No jewellery is to be worn other than one pair of plain gold or silver studs in ear lobes.

Sailing

In early March, the Redlands Pacer team competed at the ACT Teams Racing Championship in Canberra. The team of seven sailors had a great weekend and were tied with the top six teams on three wins. After a tie-break using the average score for each team, the Redlands sailors finished 5^th overall, a great result. The team was skippered by Yr 12 students Jameson Prescott and Gianni Watson.

Clean Up Australia Day

We had a wonderful turn out for Clean Up Australia Day at Balmoral last Sunday. Grateful thanks to Mr Jon Gray and Ms Rachael Riley for organising the event and to our Service and Environment Captains for all of their hard work ensuring the day was a success. It was wonderful to see so many Yr 12 students and families participate in this worthwhile initiative.
