Year 12
Banner
Okay, so things just got very real. We’re saying goodbye very soon to our incredible Year Group. Ms Boase and I would like to thankĀ Ellena Peach, Cara Skirrow, Thea Sullivan, Claudia Wilson and Emily Zhang for taking the time to design and create the banner which looks fantastic and reminds us to celebrate each day as we countdown to our Valedictory Dinner.

Snowsports
Congratulations to the students who achieved outstanding results at the Australian Interschools Snowsports Championships (see Sport section). Tim Goerner and Anna Murphy have been strong leaders of the team and are commended on their ability to create a cohesive culture.
Redlands Spring Fair: Saturday 15 September, Junior Campus
All families are warmly invited to come and join in the carnival fun at the Redlands Spring Fair. There will be fantastic food, rides, games, markets, prizes and entertainment for the whole Redlands community. Sorry, no dogs are permitted at Spring Fair.
Important Student Health and Safety Notice: Spring Fair
Parents are advised that there will be First Aid provided at the Spring Fair this coming Saturday, but our First Aid provider will not have access to medication or medical equipment held by the School for student use.
Therefore, it is essential that any student who requires an Epipen or any other medication brings this with them on the day.
Mental Health Run
Thank you to everyone who donated and plans to run this coming Sunday. The Redlands team will meet at 7.30am which will leave us enough time to take a group photo and stretch. Meet at Bradfield Park (under the Sydney Harbour Bridge in North Sydney), onĀ the Luna Park side of the Harbour Bridge. We won’t be meeting at the end so feel free to go home once you finish. Wear pink or Redlands Sports uniforms. Emma Woodward will be collecting the bibs today and handing them out during recess and lunchtime on Friday.
Scholarships
Ensure you check the scholarships website of the universities Yr 12 students are applying to. There are lots on offer and many are not just based on ATAR. You need to check if they require a reference and if so, let Ms Salier know ASAP. Typically most do not, but coop scholarships do. Those applying to Melbourne Uni Commerce can get awarded an $8000 scholarship for an ATAR of 98/IB 40. There are many more available so take the time to research. Deadline for most is Friday 28 September. A reminder that UAC applications are due Friday 28 September.
