Yr 12 Final Chapel Service

Thank you to all parents who joined in the Yr 12 Final Chapel Service this morning. St Peter’s Church was packed, Mrs Phillips led a beautiful service with a meaningful message about the various lights that we embrace and value throughout our lives. The music from our Yr 12 students and the Junior Voices/Intermediate Choir was exceptional and very special to commemorate this time of year.

Yr 12 IB Visual Arts Exhibition Opening Night

Last night marked the opening of the IB Visual Arts Exhibition. Students have been working tirelessly to put their exhibitions together and their work is truly exceptional. Congratulations to the following students: Ethan Beggs, Zara Clement, Tahlia Daily, Scarlett Ilic, Emilie Leroux, Alexandra Lloyd, Angela Monty, Celine Patel, Winter Penney, Olivia Salmond, Daisy Thomas, Tristan Wong and Annie Zhang.

Yr 12 Legacy Gift Wrap-Up

Thank you to the entire Redlands community for your support of the Yr 12 Legacy Gift fundraising. It has been a very rewarding initiative for all involved.

Net proceeds raised from all initiatives and donations are $10,040! This is a fantastic achievement and it showcases how our students have engaged with multiple stakeholders of our community (students, parents, Alumni and staff). They have learnt many concepts along the way which covered teamwork, collaboration, entrepreneurship and philanthropy.

Thank you again to the Dana Casimaty, Director of Development, and Jenni De Jager, Development & Community Engagement Coordinator for their ongoing support and efforts with this initiative throughout the entire year.

ISA Athletics Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park

Congratulations to all students who were invited to compete yesterday at the ISA Athletics Carnival: Julius Keller, Charlie Hugman, Isaac Brook and Henry Charles.

A highlights yesterday was Isaac Brooks who dominated the 18 years boys’ events, securing 1st place in both the 800m (1:55) and the 1500m (4:05). His performances showcase his exceptional middle-distance running skills.

Results:

Isaac Brooks: 1st place in the 18 years boys 800m (1:55), 1st place in the 18 years 1500m (4:05)
Henry Charles: 2nd place in the 18 years boys High Jump (1.80m), 2nd place in the 18 years Javelin (47.95m)

Student Celebration: Daisy Thomas

Congratulations to Daisy Thomas who has been accepted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame’s 2025 Scholarship and Mentoring Program. Snow Australia shared that she has been named as a Tier 1 Scholarship holder and will be mentored by Football pioneer Cheryl Salisbury.
