Tomorrow Woman

Yr 12 students who identify as she/her will be engaging in a Tomorrow Woman workshop next Tuesday. Tomorrow Woman’s motto is Trust your voice, dare to speak, author your tomorrow. They support females in recognising their voice and the need for their voice in the world. In today’s world, 54% of girls feel like they are not a good enough woman.

In Yr 10, this cohort participated in Tomorrow Woman’s the Her Code workshop that aimed to question the confines and expectations of modern womanhood.  This year, Yr 12 will participate in the Her Influence workshop which aims to look more deeply at how certain pressures and expectations influence the way they treat others, particularly other women, and students are given the tools to create a more supportive peer dynamic.

2024 Festival on the Fahl

As a school community who strongly values service, the 2024 Festival on the Fahl will raise $50,000 for the McGrath Foundation to directly support the patients and families of those affected by breast cancer. Fifty-seven Australian Women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer every day.

The Festival on the Fahl will be held on Thursday the 30th of May on the Senior Campus. Students across Years 7-12, staff, families and community members are encouraged to support through active participation and giving.

Festival on the Fahl is designed to bring the students and staff of the Secondary School community together to have fun and celebrate our unique culture for a worthy cause. Please donate.

On the day students are encouraged to bring cash in order to engage with the various activities and stalls available on the Fahl Garden. If every student can commit to $50 on the day, we reach out goal! With community support, we know we can exceed this goal and make a meaningful difference.

  • What to expect and developing your understanding of the normal course of adolescent emotional development
  • Managing emotions by helping your teen express their emotions and helping them regain emotional control
  • Recognising unhealthy emotional expression and responding appropriately

Please visit ‘Secondary School Student Wellbeing’ page on Pulse to access the PDF version of slides for this session.
