Mental Health Run

Yr 12 are using the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival as a fundraiser for Headspace. This is the organisation that came into the school last term and assisted our Year Group through a very challenging term. Emma Woodward is managing the Redlands team and said ‘I can’t believe we raised $1100 in a few hours. I wanted to share my pure joy about the world, whilst it is only money, the generosity and support shines through and I love the community that I am part of.’ This is 100% student driven and most donations have come from students in Yrs 7-12. Careers and Universities

During Pastoral Care this term, students will participate in a number of workshops. How to apply to Australian Universities will be held in the Hall on Wednesday 22 August from 10.15-11.00am. How to apply to UK and USA universities will be held in R2.1 on Thursday 23 August, first half of lunch is UK, second half is USA. How to apply to the EAS scheme will be held in the Library on Monday 27 August from 10.15-11.00am. If students are unsure if this is applicable to them, they can email Ms Salier for further information.

Community

Kudos to all Yr 12 students who attended the 13As Football game at Oakhill on the weekend. Your presence and support lifted the team and meant a lot to the younger students and their families. Your modelling of what it means to be part of a school community is impressive and admirable. Your encouragement from the sidelines spurred the boys on to play their best game of the season!

Redlands Spring Fair: Saturday 15 September, Junior Campus

All families are warmly invited to come and join in the carnival fun at the Redlands Spring Fair. There will be fantastic food, rides, games, markets, prizes and entertainment for the whole Redlands community.

You can beat the queues on the day of the Fair by pre-purchasing wristbands, coupons and raffle tickets here.
