Year 12
Last Week Of School Memories
Week 9 kicked off with a wholesome final Student Leaders Assembly, marking a special moment for Yr 12. It was an honor to bear witness to the House Captains and Portfolio of Captains as they presented to Yr 10 and 11, bidding farewell in a truly exceptional fashion. Yr 12 has truly been fortunate to have our senior leadership team by their side, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout the past year. It was a delight to see the Yr 12 countdown banner proudly displayed on the balcony in the quad, serving as a constant reminder of the excitement building with just 6 days left to go! In addition to this heartfelt assembly, on Wednesday, the Cocurricular Breakfast took place, to which all the Captains of Activities were invited to celebrate their last 12 months in their specific activity. Yr 12 also participated in the Staff Vs Yr 12 Great Debate. Congratulations to Lucy Horton, Sabrina Blasco, Claudia Lalich, Dan Close and Sebastian Tang for their stunning victory over the teachers, taking the negative on ‘children should be like their parents’.
Today, it was so pleasing to see a display of camaraderie emerge as the entire Yr 12 cohort assembled for their final gathering, united in their mission to spearhead House Spirit Activities, all in the noble pursuit of raising funds for the Class of 2023 Legacy Gift. The day was filled with a diverse array of engaging activities, including a captivating photo guessing competition, an enticing lolly jar challenge, and numerous other exciting endeavors. It was a testament to the unity and dedication of Yr 12 that every single student actively participated in this event, leaving no one behind. Yr 12 also enjoyed dressing up as their favourite childhood memory for the day.
