Year 12
Pastoral Care
Students are encouraged to start thinking about how they will plan their study over the three week break. Having a minimum number of hours is not necessarily best practice. Students should consider which methods have worked previously and refine their approach according to feedback in their reports, on iLearn and on past examination papers. The Roseby Library will be open in the final week of the holidays and students have been encouraged to make use of their local library as well which can limit distractions and provide a quiet environment. Our next major hurdle is the Trial Examinations period. Students should keep this in mind when practising their approach and make use of past examination papers, study guides and resources from their teachers. The HSC Trial timetable is available here and the IB timetable is available here and can also be found on Redlands Pulse.
Legacy Gift
Elizabeth Lee and Isobel Built have done a brilliant job of leading our Legacy Gift Project throughout the year and we are pleased to announce that Yr 12 2018 will be providing the Campus with a rooftop sustainable garden and composting unit. This will be installed on top of the new Science Centre and fundraising initiatives include a pizza sale, sausage sizzle and biggest hair / biggest beard competition.
Formal
A reminder that on the last day of this term, students are permitted to leave at lunch time in order to prepare for the Formal. Parents are warmly invited to attend pre-dinner cocktails in the foyer. We look forward to seeing you there.
Athletics Carnival
An early bus will depart from the Junior Campus with the 1500m runners at 7.00am. This race is for competitive runners only. To book a seat on the bus please email the Sports Department by no later than 4.00pm Friday 22 June.
All other students are expected to meet on the Junior Campus Oval no later than 7.15am in their respective Year Group areas (Dunnet Hall is the wet weather alternative).
