Year 11
Athletics Carnival Approvals
Please give your child permission to attend the Athletics Carnival next Tuesday through Redlands Pulse.
Yr 11 Camp
We are currently starting the Yr 11 Camp process with Medical Forms to be sent out soon. I ask that parents update any medical conditions and/or illnesses on Redlands Pulse. Changes can only be made by parents not the school.
Paul Dillon
Paul spoke with Yr 11 on Tuesday and we were so impressed with how the cohort conducted themselves. There was some very informative discussions and I know our students were able to take away some really important messages.
Mock Trial Team
Congratulations to the Yr 11 Mock Trial team last week as they had another win, this time against Marist College North Shore, taking them through to the first elimination round being held early next term. They are one of 64 teams in NSW that have progressed to this stage, from over 200 original schools. The trial this time was a criminal one in which Redlands was the prosecution in a case of arson where a neighbour’s house was allegedly set on fire by an angry employee of the owner. The team argued their case for nearly four hours and the defendant was found guilty along with Redlands also winning the Mock Trial.
Shakespeare Regional Final
Congratulations to the Yr 11 IB Theatre students who competed at the Regional Shakespeare Carnival on Tuesday at Jameson High School. The team won and is now competing at the State Carnival at the Seymour Centre. The team featured Greta Feldman, Aleisha Lawrence and Domenica Stuart.
