Year 11
Term 1 Holidays
Term 1 has been a steep learning curve for all of us and I would like to thank all parents for their continued support. It is a long term at 11 weeks and I know that the students are looking forward to the break. They certainly deserve to be happy with their efforts this term and I think it is important for students to return in Term 2 refreshed and ready to continue that focused and positive attitude towards their studies and broader schooling experience.
It is also important to have that balance between home learning and unwinding over the holidays. I wish everyone a happy and safe break.
Achieving a Balance in Your Life – Dr Prue Salter
A student with a balanced approach to school and life will:
-
- Make time to spend with their family.
- Make time to spend with their friends.
- Have hobbies or activities that they do on a regular basis.
- Play a sport or do some exercise regularly.
- Have time each week where they totally relax and let their body ‘chill out’.
And despite all this still have time to do the right amount of work for school too.
