Girls’ Bathroom Posters

In high school, the girls’ bathroom can function as a multi-purpose centre, fixing hair, tidying uniform or sharing in code about a funny anecdote which just happened in class. It is also a place where a student can find a temporary peacefulness, resume energy and carry on for the rest of the day. This week, Asha Boswarva and Bronte Vanderfield put up colourful signs with encouraging messages spread across the entire bathroom. The powerful words didn’t just brighten up the room but also served as powerful reminders to motivate girls about their strength and confidence. I am sure that their thoughtful initiative has been appreciated by the fellow students and staff and has contributed to enhance a positive learning environment.

I was very glad to see that many Yr 11 students came to support their peers at the Basketball games held at Dunnet Hall on the Junior Campus for the first time in several years. Their cheers from the stand supported the teams going through ups and downs during the matches and created a vibrant atmosphere in the Hall.  

Thank you to Yr 11 Music students and the Service Prefects who attended the Remembrance Day Service at St Peter’s Anglican Church on Sunday.  

Yr 11 HSC/ IB Parent Teacher Night 

The Yr 11 HSC/IB Parent Teacher Night will be held on Wednesday 28 November in Lang Gym, from 5.00-8.00pm. An email has been sent out to all parents with the link to request appointments.
