Year 11
Year 11 Examinations
As the examination block draws to a close, we commend Year 11 for their outstanding efforts over the past two weeks. Their resilience, adaptability, motivation and determination have been remarkable, reflecting the high value they place on hard work and success.
- Which examination sections or subjects did you perform strongly in, and what study techniques contributed to this success?
- Were there particular types of questions (e.g., multiple choice, short answer, essays) that you found easier or more difficult? What can you learn from this?
- In which areas did you struggle the most, and what specific topics or skills need further development?
- Looking at your responses, were there any gaps in your knowledge or misunderstandings that affected your results? How will you address these?
- How did you manage your time during each examination? Were there any sections where time was an issue, and how can you improve your time management?
- What feedback did you receive on your examination technique (eg. structure, clarity, depth of responses)? How can you refine these skills for Year 12?
- Were there any patterns across your examinations in terms of mistakes or missed marks? What adjustments can you make to avoid these in the future?
- Which topics or units are your strongest, and how will you build on this knowledge to ensure continued success in Year 12?
- Which specific study habits or resources (eg. notes, revision guides, practice examinations) proved effective, and which ones need improvement?
- How can you set measurable goals to target your weaker areas and track your progress throughout Year 12?
We wish Yr 11 a restful weekend – you should be proud of all your hard work.
