Welcome Back

Welcome back to Term 3! Yr 11 seemed very rested and relaxed as they returned to classes on Tuesday morning. The reality of a few assessments this week soon took over the conversation. We do hope everyone enjoyed a refreshing break with family and friends.

Several students were busy this break traveling, participating in courses, gaining experience in leadership opportunities outside of school and engaging in work experience. We look forward to sharing these opportunities at an upcoming Year Assembly.

Secondary School Counselling Parent Support Workshop 3

The SS Counselling team will be presenting their third workshop this term in Week 3 on Mental Health Issues: Anxiety & Depression (The Good, The Bad & The Ugly).  Parents can sign-up now.

You can find out more information and register your attendance through Pulse.

Peer Support

Thank you to the incredible team of Yr 11 students who participated diligently and enthusiastically each week throughout Semester 1 in Peer Support, guiding and engaging Yr 7 students, navigating the challenges of leading peers and younger students as well as working as a team of 8 within each Tutor Group. The Yr 7 students were incredibly grateful and truly loved working with this group of Yr 11. The Heads of House, Yr 7 Tutors and Peer Support Captains guided our Yr 11 Peer Support Leaders and their comments were overwhelmingly positive with the growth they witnessed in each individual student. Teachers were extremely impressed each Friday when Yr 11 entered the classroom and led their group.  Congratulations for an incredibly successful semester!

Gala Arts

Good luck to all students who have been participating in Gala Arts preparations over these last few months. There is a lot of effort and work that goes into these professional performances.
