Year 11

Start of Term 3

I hope all students and their families had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday period and have been getting ready for the last term of Yr 11! It is a ten week term filled with various academic, sport and extra curricular opportunities, including the Yearly Examinations, Yr 11 Camp preparation and Snowsports competitions.   

As usual, students are encouraged to strive for their personal best every day, maintain a growth mindset and resilience to adapt and learn. Their teachers, Tutors, Ms Shorter and I are always willing to support every student whenever we can. For parents, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, need assistance or clarification.

New Tutors

I would like to introduce Mr James Clanfield and Ms Lorna Woolley as Yr 11 DB and CY Tutors, who will replace Mr Crawford and Ms Holly Peck. I am confident that their talents, abilities and knowledge will help our Pastoral Care team to grow stronger in supporting our students with care and wisdom. Please join me in welcoming them onboard.

Snowsports

Congratulations to our Yr 11 Snowsports participants for their excellent results at the 21st  Redlands Cup during the holidays.

Pastoral Care

During Pastoral Care time this week, students have spent time reflecting on their Semester 1 Reports and Approaching to Learning with their Tutors. They have been asked to follow the concept of the acronym of SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely.           

Tanzania Trip   

Congratulations to all students who successfully participated in the Tanzania Service trip during the holidays. Their efforts and dedication for this project have certainly made a difference to the local people. Thank you to Ms Kria Coleman, Ms Christine Shorter and Mr Cameron Ellis involved in supporting the students through this trip. In addition, I am sure you will enjoy these amazing photos taken by Oliver Waterhouse.
