Year 10
Student Immersion Program to Japan
Currently, Harrison Winton, Tylor Wessels and Katherine Keller are on exchange to Jutoku High School in Japan (Redlands sister school). A special whole school assembly was held for them. Our students competently and confidently delivered their individual speeches in Japanese to the school community (in front of more than 1000 students and teachers). They are currently experiencing the immersion program by attending various academic classes, participating in a range of cocurricular activities and other school events while in Japan. We look forward to hearing all their news.
Student Achievements
Sofia Stuckmann is a member of the NSW Junior State team for Indoor Volleyball. During the coming holiday break she will be travelling to Canberra to represent NSW in the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships. This is a significant achievement to be playing indoor volleyball at this high level and we wish her every success at this forthcoming competition.
Study Guides
Study guides are now available for students to access on iLearn. Students will be able to download these study guides from the respective Course pages for each subject that they are enrolled in. Please encourage your son or daughter to download these guides so as they can appropriately prepare for Term 4 examinations.
Harbour Cruise
A reminder that ticket sales will close for the Harbour Cruise on Monday 23 September. Please refer to the email sent to parents and carers on Tuesday 10 September.
Please make sure:
- you register the ticket under your child’s name and not your own.
- you enter food intolerances or allergies during this step, in the appropriate field.
You will receive an email with a confirmation to let you know that your purchase was successful (check junk mail if this does not appear in your inbox). A few days before the event, you will be emailed your official tickets – these must be printed by you and presented to be scanned on entry.
Yr 10 Parent Contact Group Harbour Cruise Parent Catch Up
With the Redlands Yr 10 Harbour Cruise scheduled for the evening of Friday 8 November, we thought it would be a great opportunity for parents to catch up while waiting for our children to return. We are planning on hosting a Yr 10 parent function at a venue near to King Street Wharf. Details to follow.
