Year 10

Yr 10 Reports

Yr 10 will be receiving their academic reports via Redlands Pulse shortly. Please take this opportunity to discuss both your child’s academic results as well as their Approach to Learning grades. Redlands’ focus on Approach to Learning is intended to shift our students’ thinking towards a growth mindset. Acknowledging and encouraging the process of learning over results per se improves students’ self-esteem, motivation and learning orientation which ultimately lays strong foundations for improved academic performance.

Departures

I would like to farewell the students and their families who are departing Redlands at the end of this term. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours: Emma Baker, Tom Cartwright, Jackson Low, Griffin Potter and Tadgh Robinson.

ABW

Thank you to the mentors and staff who made Australian Business Week so successful. This week-long project fosters important enterprise skills such as creativity and innovation, project management, working with others, communication and digital skills. Demand for enterprise skills has been rising over time and jobs of the future are increasingly dependent on these skills. ABW has provided an authentic real-world scenario for our students to develop these skills with the support and guidance of expert mentors.
