Jeans for Genes Day

This year, Redlands is supporting Jeans for Genes because we want to help discover treatments and cures for the 1 in 20 kids facing a birth defect or genetic disease. We have decided to go classic and Wear Denim! Please help us support the vital research. Jeans for Genes makes possible.

Students can help by:

  • Wearing denim this Friday with a gold coin donation for a non-uniform fundraiser
  • Make a donation here

Academic Assessment Schedule

The Academic Assessment Schedule can be found on the Redlands Pulse Yr 10 Page.  Yr 10 assessments are beginning to pick up pace for the term. Students have accessed and been provided time to plan their term using this calendar in Term 3 Wk 1.

Students should be planning and preparing for assessments as soon as Study Guides and Notifications are handed out.  If students have any concerns regarding assessments, students should first speak directly with their classroom teacher. If further support is needed, students are encouraged to speak with their Tutors and Year Advisors for further guidance.

PISA Testing – Redlands 2022

This year, Redlands participated in PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment). PISA testing is sponsored by the OECD and involves over 85 countries. Last week, a small number of our Year 10 students completed the tests which included questions on reading, science, mathematics, and creative thinking. Some of our teachers who also teach Yr 10 were required to compete a questionnaire as well. Thank you to all students who were randomly selected to participate in this test.
