Year 10
Maths Club
The Maths Club kicked off on Tuesday Week 5 with enthusiastic participation among students from Yrs 7 to 12. This new community, led by Yr 11 student Jessica Wei, aims to encourage and enhance logical thinking and problem-solving skills in a vibrant, collegial atmosphere. A wide range of club activities, planned by Jessica and supported by the Mathematics Department, include puzzles, challenges, graphic art competitions, fascinating Maths paradoxes and theories, visits from guest speakers and various service activities. All students are warmly invited to come and explore their passion for Mathematics and be part of the weekly meetings in LH3.3 at 3.30 pm Tuesday.
Secondary School Photos
Student portraits will be taken on Friday 5 March in Redlands Hall. Students will be out of class at the following times:
7.15-8.20am – Sibling Photos
8.20-9.15am – Yr 7 and Yr 10 Portrait Photos
Clean Up Australia Day
Redlands will be participating in the annual Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday 7 March. Redlands has registered a site at Balmoral Beach from 12-2 pm. Students will need to be at the Rotunda at 11.50 am. All members of the Redlands community will be provided the necessary equipment. Student Achievements
Congratulations to Ellie Trueman who was selected for the U18 Sydney Metro Academy team to play at the 2021 Regional Academy Games, which are in the upcoming April school holidays. The Regional Academy Games will give Ellie the opportunity to play Hockey for the first time at an elite level.
