Issue 6 2021 - 04 Mar 2021

From the Principal

Following on from recent communication regarding a review of our sex education programs, I attended a meeting of Independent School Heads through the AHISA network, during which all schools expressed a strong desire to collaborate together. It is clear that all schools are seeking research-based advice from educational experts in the area of sex education to inform the improvement and sequencing of such programs. A representative group of Independent School Principals has been invited to meet with the Australian Human Rights Commission to discuss this most important topic and I will be attending a webinar on Friday, organised by AISNSW, during which Detective Superintendent Stacey Maloney, the Commander of the NSW Police Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad, will present to Principals.

The School has also reached out to Dr Tessa Opie, from ‘In Your Skin: Relationships and Sexuality Education’, to provide expert advice and to develop the framework for a potential partnership, which will involve student, alumni and parent input into the review process. I have been most impressed to note that following my presentations to students on Monday last week, some groups of students have already had follow up conversations with staff expressing areas that they would like focused on in future sessions and programs.

There are a number of key presenters that the School engages as part of our Social and Emotional Wellbeing programs and one presenter that consistently receives glowing endorsement from the students is Glen Gerreyn, from the ‘Hopeful Institute’. Our Year 11 students attended his ‘Day of Hope’ presentation this week and I know that the students would have benefitted greatly from this experience. Glen is able to quickly build rapport with young people and inspires them to untap their true potential. More information on the workshop can be found here.

The School recently hosted a series of presentations for Year 7 2023 enrolments, which involved breaking into smaller groups as part of our COVID-safe plans. These sessions were held last Thursday evening and Sunday morning and I greatly appreciated the significant time given by many of our Year 12 leaders and Year 7 students, who were most impressive in the way that they interacted and spoke about the School. I always come away from these events energised by the students’ comments and genuine affection for their school.

Redlands App

Our Redlands App has been launched this week and is now available on the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android). A User Guide was emailed out to all parents on Monday, including details on how to access and use the app. There is also a copy of this on Redlands Pulse under the Useful Links button. We will be further enhancing the app as the year unfolds in response to parent feedback.

If parents require assistance in accessing your Redlands login details to access the app, please email pulse@redlands.nsw.edu.au.

If parents have difficulty in downloading/using the app, please email feedback@redlands.nsw.edu.au.

Photo caption: We are proud to present to you our 2021 Junior School Student Leaders.

This is Redlands

We are delighted that the app is now being used by a significant number of our Redlands community following its launch earlier this week. The app is available for download in both the App Store for Apple users and Google Play for those using Android. A reminder that after downloading the app, you simply enter your Redlands login to access and personalise your settings.

The app provides a quick and easy connection with the School for all of the important information our community seeks – contact information, term dates, events, sport fixtures, school, and absentee notices and other key links – all from the palm of your hand. The app will be enhanced as the year unfolds and we look forward to receiving your feedback through the continuing development process.

The Second Hand Uniform Sale is well underway with over a hundred orders taken to date. There is still time to order as the sale concludes at 3.00pm tomorrow, with all proceeds dedicated to the means-tested Redlands Foundation Scholarship Fund

Many thanks to those who donated uniforms to sell and to the dedicated volunteers, led by the Redlands Parent and Friends Association (RPFA) and Uniform Shop, for their assistance and expertise in delivering this important event.

Redlands global community was celebrated this past week as we connected with Alumni across the UK, Europe, Canada and the US. Our internationally based Redlanders generously shared their school experiences and what they are currently doing overseas. More locally, we are excited to be hosting our inaugural Northern NSW/SE Qld Chapter meeting in Broadbeach tomorrow. This event marks our first face-to-face alumni event in more than 12 months and we look forward to welcoming Redlanders from the 1940s through to the 2000s on the Gold Coast tomorrow. With Redlanders scattered across the globe, Alumni reunions will be held locally, nationally and internationally.

Thank you for your continued guidance and support and please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team should you have any feedback or questions.

Foundation

We are proud of our Redlands community which generously participates and contributes to the growth of the School. Valued contributions can be made in many different ways: volunteering at events and initiatives, providing support through corporate sponsorship or making a tax-deductible donation to one of our funds. All are greatly appreciated. No matter how large or small your contribution is, you will be adding to shape the prospects of our children for today and for many years to come. Your participation matters!

Belinda Oxley Scholarship

This year our journey continues to support the means-tested Redlands Foundation Scholarship with the goal to award one scholarship annually for the entire six years of a Redlands Secondary School education. Our next means-tested scholarship will be named in honour of the late Belinda Oxley, who sadly passed away in 2018, to recognise her 23 year dedication to our School. Belinda began at Redlands as a Yr 2 teacher, contributing to many valued educational programs before taking up the role of Dean of Early Childhood in 2015. Her commitment was recognised with the Roseby Staff Award in 2013. Belinda is remembered fondly by both her colleagues and students as a passionate educator and we are proud to honour her legacy to the School through the support of a young person who might not otherwise have the opportunity to benefit from a Redlands education.

Second Hand Uniform Sale – Closing Tomorrow

Thank you to the RPFA for organising this wonderful initiative and to our community who contributed to make it such a great success. We will announce the results next week.

Alumni Chapters

Thank you to our International Alumni community for joining our UK / European and USA / Canada Chapter meetings last week. The conversations, memories and sharing of personal experiences as Redlanders was very inspiring, and reflective of our talented and very treasured Redlands community. We look forward to our next International Chapter Meetings, coming soon. Stay tuned!

The feedback from our Alumni was very positive:

“My experience at Redlands was very positive, as a School it was the best of all the Schools I attended”.

“I moved to NYC to pursue a dream”

“This meeting has been great, although it has made me feel homesick!”.

“I attended Redlands prior to coeducation, it is great to see males in this meeting!”.

“I’m so happy to discover other Redlanders living in Europe, it’s great to connect”.

It’s Okay to Make Mistakes… as long as you learn from them

This week I have worked in partnership with students, families and teachers on supporting students to better manage themselves, their emotions and their interactions with each other. At Redlands, we focus on Social and Emotional Learning, which supports young people to grow and flourish. SEL instruction focuses on emotional intelligence. The ultimate goal is to teach young people to understand and respect themselves and others.

As you know, adolescence is a time of great learning, about oneself and others. Emotional intelligence develops slowly. It grows over time. Life experiences hone our skills and our understanding of ourselves and others. Recently, some of our students have been refining and developing their social and emotional skills, in light of some poor decision-making.

When students do make serious mistakes at School, they are treated in a confidential manner. The School has not, and would never, reveal the identities of students who experience personal and social setbacks. During their time at school, young people often make poor decisions, neglect their responsibility as students and require our support to ‘get back on track’. We recognise this as central to our role as educators and always prioritise a restorative justice approach to managing the contravention of School Rules.

How can we support our young people to learn socially and emotionally? I like to anchor my conversations with students in the Redlands values. Responsibility and moral courage are two powerful values which resonate with boys and girls.

Young people can exercise personal responsibility by:

  • Being the best version of themselves
  • Showing respect to each other and having respect for themselves
  • Building relationships with their peers and their teachers
  • Engaging in learning and finding ways to enjoy learning even when it is challenging
  • Asking for help/guidance if they need it – not waiting for a teacher to ask if they need help, but stepping up and speaking up for yourself

Young people can demonstrate moral courage by:

  • Stepping up and speaking up if they witness unacceptable behaviour
  • Understanding that at Redlands, we have confidential processes and safe spaces to enable students to step up and speak up
  • Asking students to discern how they can become a young person of character and strength, who is respected by others, and who in turn, respects themselves

Talking to Young People about Harmful Products

This week Ms Jansons spoke with some students about the dangers of vaping (smoking e-cigarettes). She outlined the following:

  • Brain risks: Nicotine affects brain development in children and teenagers. This can make it harder to learn and concentrate. Some of the brain changes are permanent and can affect mood and impulse control later in life.
  • Toxins (poisons): The vapour made from e-cigarettes is not made of water. The vapour contains harmful chemicals and very fine particles that are inhaled into the lungs and exhaled into the environment.
  • Some young people have died, and many hospitalised with severe lung problems from vaping. Whilst vaping has been around for about 10 years, originally to be used as a way for smokers to quit smoking cigarettes, there has been a marked increase of vaping in teenagers over the last few years, and most concerning is, we don’t yet know how it affects the body over time.

When speaking with students, Ms Jansons posed specific questions about the impact of vaping on health such as:

  • Did you know that one small USB like vape holds the equivalent of a packet of cigarettes?
  • The seemingly healthy and appealing flavours of vapes such as strawberry and watermelon hide the chemicals which exist in vapes. They are designed this way to dupe young people, to trick them into thinking that vapes are safe. They are not.
  • How do you think the need for nicotine might affect your ability to focus in school? What if you get agitated during the school day and find that you can’t listen during class? How might vapes affect your ability on the basketball court? Do you think it might interfere with your ability to get enough sleep?

By asking specific questions, we enable young people the capacity to consider the immediate and long-term risks to a person’s health. This is more effective than simply saying ‘vaping is bad for you’.

More information can be found at the ADF (Alcohol and Drug Foundation) website.

International Women’s Day

IWD is next Monday 8 March and as a school, we will be celebrating this day in a Student-Led Assembly on Tuesday. Our students and staff have been busy preparing this week, through their involvement in the creation of a short film designed to capture Redlands voices. Ably led by Anna-Luisa Feller and Julia Parker, a swathe of students from Yrs 7-12 have entered our recording space to offer their thoughts, hopes and insights. Yr 11 student, Iris Buisman, has confidently and competently worked with our wonderful IT/AV team to support the filming of our IWD voices. We look forward to sharing the Redlands IWD film with our parent community next week.

Thank You

On a personal note, I would like to sincerely thank the parents who attended the first SSPCG meeting this year. It was wonderful to welcome parents back onto the Senior Campus and share in the experiences of the School community at the start of 2021. It has been such a positive beginning to the year and I am very grateful for the well-wishes, constructive feedback and guidance I have received from the parent community.

Salvation Army Clothing Drive

Along with Jocelyn and Yumi, we have been running a clothing drive for the past few weeks. It was a huge success and we were able to collect a huge amount of clothes that we are still sorting through. However, this would not have been able to take place if it wasn’t for the help of all of the staff and students. We would like to give a shoutout to the Facilities team for supplying the bins for us and Ms Ynson and Ms Boase for helping us all the way with organising and getting things approved because if it wasn’t for them, none of this would have happened. There were also many volunteers who helped and dedicated their time to sorting out the clothes and finally a big thank you to everyone who dropped off an item of clothing or a bag of clothing, it is much appreciated by those who are in need. Also, in the next week, the Salvation Army will be taking the clothes and they will get to go to those who are in need. It has been a pleasure to run this event with a tremendous amount of support from all of the staff and students. Daisy Thomas, Yr 9

Day of Hope

On Tuesday, Yr 11 were fortunate to have Glen Gerreyn, from The Hopeful Institute hold a social and emotional wellbeing seminar at school. I have listened to Glen many times over the past 10 years and he is an inspirational and powerful speaker. Redlands (as well as many independent Sydney secondary schools, and others around the world) provides this opportunity for Yr 11 students, as the school believes it is a vital component to help them navigate the challenges in the next two years and beyond. Glen talks about how “many teens struggle to find a sense of identity, let alone purpose in life…young people are in need of a voice of positivity and a role model who reminds them to dream big, set goals and just go for it”. His seminar is aimed at helping students find their own purpose in life. Studying is just one aspect of senior secondary school, but developing the resilience and sense of purpose for that studying is equally, if not more, important. The Day of Hope is aimed to help the students become so much more motivated and focused in the next two years.

Clean Up Australia Day

Student Uniform Management

A reminder that the school now has a two step uniform management system. Should uniform be incorrect, a student will receive a recorded uniform demerit. Two demerits in one term will result in a one hour Friday afternoon detention. The intention of this system is to establish clarity around uniform expectations and fairness in uniform management. We appreciate your support in helping each child meet the School’s expectations.

Pastoral Program

Students have continued to understand ‘white privilege’, where they watched a video that explained the issue in a $100 running race. They are understanding that having white privilege does not automatically make you racist, but that is important to identify these inherent advantages in order to reject them and help make a fair and equal society.

Please ensure your son/daughter brings their full summer uniform with blazer tomorrow for photo day.  If students have their Student ID card, they are also asked to bring it along.

Clothing Drive Update

Thank you to all students still volunteering their time before school, at lunch and during Tutor to sort clothing into appropriate categories for the Salvation Army collection.

International Women’s Day

Next week, Redlands is recognising and celebrating International Women’s Day with the theme Choose to Challenge. While the entire Year Group has been stepping up and looking out for one another by the small actions they choose to do every day to challenge inequality, four students, in particular, started quite a conversation last year with their Sexism Survey in Yr 8 and ongoing presentations and discussion questions shared through Tutor across our Year Group.

Yr 9 students have truly started challenging inappropriate comments and standing up for one another. Students are speaking up more often and holding one another accountable when inappropriate comments are made. This is a true demonstration of showing moral courage which can be quite difficult at this age or any age.

A special thank you goes to Ahnu Guan, Sholto Mirrlees-Black, Chari Waterland and Annie Zhang for their ongoing efforts in leading this discussion and also for their additional time these last few weeks preparing for further support during next week’s celebrations.

Bus Etiquette

This is a timely reminder, as we are still at the beginning of a new school year, that students are all asked to ensure they follow the guidelines below when using public transportation to and from school. Thank you in advance for reinforcing this at home with your sons and daughters as well.

  • Proper school uniform
  • Student Opal Card
  • Face mask
  • Offer space and seat to non-students riding the bus with them, especially older members of the public
  • Use appropriate language and act in an appropriate manner when riding public transportation

Maths Club

The Maths Club kicked off on Tuesday with enthusiastic participation among students from Yrs 7 to 12. This new community, led by Yr 11 student Jessica Wei, aims to encourage and enhance logical thinking and problem-solving skills in a vibrant, collegial atmosphere. A wide range of Club activities, planned by Jessica and supported by the Mathematics Department, include puzzles, challenges, graphic art competitions, fascinating Maths paradoxes and theories, visits from guest speakers and various service activities. All students are warmly invited to come and explore their passion for Mathematics and be part of the weekly meetings in LH3.3 at 3.30pm Tuesday.

Rowing and Sailing

This past weekend, several students in Yr 9 took part in a Sailing and Rowing Regatta. It sounded like an intense weekend with many celebrations and fun memories together as a team. Specific details will be included in the Sports Page in Redlands Pulse and Note Day.

A special mention goes out to Alissandra Braden who was selected to join the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron Gold team with a mix of students from other schools.

Congratulations to all students who competed this weekend!

JUNIOR SCHOOL UPCOMING EVENTS

Car Line Arrival Time

As communicated previously, Junior School parents using the car line pick up option facilitated by our staff must not arrive before 3.15pm and as close to 3.20pm or thereafter. This is even more vital as our Preparatory School reverts back to pre-COVID departure times meaning that their final Year Group will depart from the Prep car line at 3.10pm.

I implore all parents to take notice of this important safety request.

Redlands App Goes Live

We were pleased to launch the Redlands app for parents this week which parents would have received information about. The app will provide a quick and easy connection with the School for all of the important information our community seeks – contact information, term dates, events, sports fixtures, school and absentee notices, and other key links – all from the palm of your hand. It also allows parents to subscribe to specific groups of interest without having to see information that may not be of interest to you. The app will be enhanced as the year unfolds and we look forward to receiving your feedback through the continuing development process. For feedback on the Redlands app or support in downloading it, please email here.

Get it on Google Play

Junior School Learning Review Meetings

I am very pleased to confirm that the Junior School Learning Review Meetings in Week 8 (15-19 March) will allow parents to come on campus out of school hours to meet with your child’s teacher in person to review their learning and progress so far this year. A letter will be emailed tomorrow (Friday) to all families with online booking instructions as well as our COVID-safe guidelines. Bookings will open at 8.00pm next Monday 8 March and remain open until 5.00pm on Thursday 11 March.

Clean Up Australia Day

Thanks to Yr 6 student, Chloe Petering, who has championed Redlands involvement in this year’s Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday 7 March between 12.00-2.00pm. The School has registered a site at Balmoral Beach with families asked to meet at the rotunda at 11.50pm. To support this day, please click here. Equipment such as bags and gloves have been sent to the School but attending families may wish to bring their own.

Balmoral Swim for Cancer Schools Relay Challenge

Redlands has registered to compete in this year’s Balmoral Swim for Cancer Schools Relay Challenge taking place on Sunday 21 March at Balmoral Beach. Whilst primarily or secondary-aged swimmers, the race is open to Yr 6 if students in this Year Group wish to enter a team.

How it works:

  • Each team has four swimmers
  • Each swimmer swims a leg of the relay 200m
  • Participants can swim in their school year category or an older category
  • Entry cost are $15 for each swimmer

The Schools Relay Challenge is a community-based initiative where schools help raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Institute, increase awareness of this important cause and importantly have fun participating in an open water swim relay.

There is also an opportunity for families to donate here as we raise money for this worthwhile cause.

Independence

At Redlands House, we strongly encourage independence. We love seeing the children carry their own bags, pack away their belongings and look after their food containers. As children grow and develop, they become more able to do things for themselves, to express themselves and to explore their world independently. Independence contributes to the development of self-esteem, identity and wellbeing. Doing something for yourself produces a powerful sense of achievement and success. When children have opportunities to make choices, to attempt tasks for themselves and to take on increasing responsibilities, their sense of themselves as competent members of society grows.

Parent Teacher interviews for Seniors

Parent Teacher Interviews for families of Senior and Transition Gold students will be held in Week 8 15-19 March. Interviews can be booked via the https://www.schoolinterviews.com.au website. The code is 5udtk. Bookings can be made from Monday 8 March at 9.00am to Friday 12 March at 9.00am. If you’re unable to attend these interviews in person, we can arrange for the interview to be conducted via Zoom. Please book in with your teacher and advise them directly if you would prefer a Zoom interview session.

Basketball

This Saturday 6 March will be the last regular season round for many of our teams. Next Saturday 13 March is the Term 1 ISA Finals for the 1st and 2nd placed teams in the majority of the divisions at Penrith Basketball Stadium. There are four teams who will have a regular season game next Saturday in a first past the post structure. These teams include: Junior A Girls, Inter A Girls, 14E Boys and 14F Boys.

All teams will have their usual training next Thursday regardless of whether they are or are not in the finals next Saturday. However, only teams that are playing in finals (or playing a game next Saturday) will continue to have Tuesday training if this is a part of their normal training schedule. Further communication will be sent out early next week to confirm which teams are in the finals. All of the additional skills sessions will run as normal next week for any student who wishes to attend.

The Girls Basketball program had a fantastic opportunity last Friday. Australian Opals Squad member, Shyla Heal, came to Redlands and trained with our Friday morning skills group. The girls had the chance to hear about Shyla’s pathway to becoming a professional basketball player at the age of 16 and furthermore a current squad member in contention to make the Australian team for the 2021 Olympics at the age of 19. A big thank you to our Director of Basketball, Renae Camino and our Friends of Basketball for making this opportunity possible.

Football

The Friends of Football AGM will be held on Monday 8 March at 6.00pm over Zoom. If you are interested in attending this meeting and being a part of the Friends of Football for the 2021 season, please email kseebohm@redlands.nsw.edu.au.

Cross Country Carnival

The Redlands Secondary School Cross Country Carnival will be held on Wednesday 17 March (Week 8) at the Macquarie University Sporting Fields, Culloden Rd and Talavera Rd. The Cross Country Carnival is an optional school event for Yrs 8- 12 students and compulsory event for Yr 7 students.

Students in Yrs 8-12 will need to register no later than 4.00pm Tuesday 9 March (Week 7).

A confirmed timetable, spectator information, and details of the arrival and departure process will be communicated once all competitors are confirmed. For further information, please contact Ms Eliza Peirce

Cross Country Training

Cross Country training starts tomorrow. All students are welcome to attend.

Primrose Park from 6.30-7.30am

(Students should be dropped at Primrose Park at 6.30am. Students will walk back to school with a supervising staff member)

Uniform: Full PE uniform, appropriate runners, water bottle, medication as required including asthma medication. Students will change into their full school uniform on arrival back at school.

Please note: Cross Country training will move to Friday afternoons in Term 2.

For further information please contact Mr Nick Walker.

Tennis

On Saturday, Round 4 of Tennis went ahead despite the drizzle. It was pleasing to see all students turn up and play their best. A number of teams were able to successfully outplay their opponent, using good ball placement and consistency to win all three of their sets, while others had more of a challenge taking home either 1 or 2 of the sets.

The COVID Safety Protocols for Tennis have not changed for Round 5. The one spectator rule at all NSTA Tennis venues remains in place. Both spectators and players should check in with the venue’s Service NSW QR code on arrival. The Redlands COVID Sports Protocols can be found on Redlands Pulse. All wet weather updates can be found on Twitter.

Touch Football

It was a mixed day of results for the Touch Football girls. Our 1st VI had a slow start against SACS 1 going down 2-0 early in the match, however the girls began to find some rhythm and clawed back the result with some slick moves, taking the match 4-3 to remain in the hunt for the finals. Our 2nds took on a strong Oakhill College 1, with a key focus being three man drives and defending space, unfortunately going down 2-3. The Senior 3rds continue their run of form with a strong win over SPGS 1, to remain on top of the Division 3 table. Senior 4ths had a tough loss against Oakhill 2 but are showing great skills and playing with confidence each week.

Our Junior A team had a fantastic game against SPGS. The girls looked strong early but let in a few soft tries to finish, with the game finishing 5-5. The Junior Bs had a close 2-4 loss to Chevalier. Our Junior C team had a very defensive 0-0 draw against SPGS 4 and our Jnr D team had a lot of fun despite the one sided score line against Chevalier College.

Next weekend sees the ISA Finals (Saturday 13 March). The draw for the finals will be released early next week, but we will be hosting the Touch Football Presentation (for players only) on Thursday afternoon during sport at Macquarie University during the usual sports period. More information will be sent out early next week.

Athletics Field Event Trials

Thank you to the 200 plus students who pre-registered and attended the field event trials for shot put and high jump this week. With an increase in numbers from last year it was great to see a wide representation from all grades and age groups. Those students who wish to enter discus and turbo jav can do so on the day of the Carnival when it is announced.

Athletics Carnival Preparation

In order to prepare for the Athletics Carnival and the events on offer, please review the following guide with your child so they are aware of some of the more important points listed below:

  • What track events would they like to enter on the day? 1500m, 800, 200m 100m, 50m ,discus, turbo jav etc
  • What is your child’s preferred start? Crouch start or standing start, both of which have/will be covered in PE lessons by their respective teacher
  • Starting procedure, ‘take your mark, set, gun’
  • How to sprint – engagement of hands, hips and heels
  • How to finish-body position, dipping
  • Relays

A guide has been put together to assist students and families with preparing for the Athletics Carnival on Wednesday 31 March. The Guide includes:

  • Hints and Tips of each event
  • Common Faults and Basic Rules
  • Introduction and Instructional Videos
  • Drills to practice at home

More detailed information relating to all components of competing in the Carnival can be found in the Athletics Carnival Student Handbook.

Cross Country Carnival Preparation

The Cross Country Carnival takes place in early Term 2. All students from the Junior School will be running at this carnival in either the Championship Event or the Fun Run Event. Both events will run the same distance on the same course. As was the format last year the results of the Multi-Stage Fitness test (commonly referred to as the Beep Test) conducted in PE classes at the end of this term will determine what race your child will be entered into. This will ensure students are placed in a race with runners of similar levels and all students, regardless of event, will earn House points.

In order to prepare for the Beep Test but also the Carnival, it is now a good time to introduce some running stamina exercises and consider some Fartlek training. Work out what your child would enjoy and track their results.

Ribbons will be awarded to the first ten runners in each of the races per age group for both boys and girls.

Age Champions and Runners Up will be decided from the Championship Race for each of the following age groups: 8/9 Years, 10 Years, 11 Years and 12/13 Years and they will receive medals on the day.

More detailed information can be found in the Carnival Information Booklet as well as the Cross Country Redlands Pulse page.

Goal Keeper Training

The Junior School organises Goal Keeper specific training sessions every Friday morning from 7.00-8.00am. If your child is interested in goal keeping, please turn up on the morning, entry via oval gate at 49 Murdoch St. We are very fortunate to have such a high quality Goal Keeper coach in Dominique and the students who have attended his sessions have really enjoyed them.

Redlands Music is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2021 Music Performance season, which will see the department opening its doors to the Edwards Auditorium in welcoming parents and friends to participate as audience members in our first live concert on Campus in over a year.

Please join us for a wonderful evening of live music presented by students enrolled in our Jazz program and featuring pre-recorded student compositions, as we release the 2019 and 2020 Redlands EP. Limited tickets will be made available to family members of students performing across this evening, with tickets capped at two per family. We will also continue to welcome virtual audiences to participate in this event as we continue to live stream the concert for those who are unable to join us on-site.
