Yr12 Notices

Week 6 HSC/IB Core Presentations

Careers will be coming to Yr 12 Core lessons in Week 6 to make sure everyone is on track with their UAC applications. We will be explaining preferences and offers, EAS and SRS.

Elite Athlete and Performers Schemes

Some universities offer adjustment points (on top of your ATAR) for national/state level competitions. These applications are now open with varying close dates depending on each University. Some will consider Yr 11 and Yr 12 activities, some only Yr 12.

Shaw Reynolds Lawyers Scholarship

Sydney based law firm specialising in environmental, land development, town planning, governmental and administrative law. We provide a scholarship program for young people interested in studying law at the tertiary level. Our scholarship program consists of two awards, each of $4,000 to assist in meeting a student’s costs. The criteria is not strictly academic although it is a requirement that the successful individuals are accepted into one of the following universities for the 2024 academic year: University of Technology Sydney, Sydney University, University of NSW, Australian National University. US Study

Study in the US Webinar by Internationally Educated
23 August, 6pm 
The free presentation is best suited for students and their families in years 9, 10, and 11. This general presentation draws on our experience having worked in US university admissions and will provide insight to the US university application process and the higher education system in the US. A brief Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Admissions representatives will hold a virtual public information session for students and families about their respective universities and the highly selective college admissions process. Topics will include: academic programs, campus activities, admissions policies, financial aid, and international student life.

SAT Practice Test 

2 September, 9am
Internationally Educated is offering an online SAT practice test for students in Years 9-11. Registration essential and details can be found here. 

The practice exam includes a personal score report and a score review session with a test prep expert.
