Sustainability
In Term Two, the Redlands Senior Campus launched an initiative to introduce reusable canteen containers. This program aims to significantly reduce the amount of packaging waste sent to landfill while also cutting costs for the school. Students have embraced the initiative, consistently returning their containers after use, which are then washed and reused for future canteen orders. A term after its introduction, the process of returning canteen containers has become second nature to our students. Thanks to this collective effort, we have successfully prevented 7,382 containers from ending up in landfill.
