Latest Update

  • From the latest communication from the Interschools everything is still on hold. Resort operators are asking Government Health to increase the people limit on operations. They are keen to move ahead with this season and have extended the final payment for season passes until 2 June for Thredbo and 15 June for Perisher. News just through from AISNSW is that the Dept of Education is moving to Phase 2 for school sport from next Monday. For Snowsports this means limited on-snow training dependent on travel restrictions and small groups widely spaced, but no communal living. If everything continues to go well in Australia then we could move to Stage 3 in Term 3 with full training and competition dependent on commercial operation of mountain facilities.
  • If you could envisage (hope!) at this time your child would be available to compete in State Championships at Thredbo from 23-29 August, then to help with our planning (if you haven’t already), please register them here asap. Also if everyone could let me know if you have a Thredbo season pass for 2020 or will need one.
  • We are preparing to enter teams (approx. 1-2 per Division) in the State Championships.
  • There is the possibility of an online buy/sell sale soon.
  • Ski weekends in Term 3 are planned for State training and maybe even training in holidays. All still up in the air!
  • Decisions around all July holiday programs at HCC will be advised soon. If you have already paid and still wish to attend Family Weeks, please confirm with me asap. We need more information as the main consideration is Government Policies and the opening of the resorts. If anyone requires a refund for any reason, please contact me and I’ll organise the transfer. Any payments made can be carried over to weekends or State.
