Thanks to everyone who joined our Friends of Snowsports Zoom meeting on Monday night.

Main points from the meeting:

we are preparing to enter teams (approximately two per division) in the State Championships 23-30 August at Thredbo;
possibility of an on-line buy/sell sale soon;
ski weekends in Term 3 for State training;
still a possibility of Family Weeks and training in holidays. All still up in the air!

Next FOSS meeting is on 25 May at 6.00pm.

Latest Update

From the latest communication from Interschools everything is still on hold. Resort operators are working with Government Health directives and are keen to move ahead with this season. As Australia seems to be doing a great job in controlling the spread of the virus, we can only hope more restrictions are lifted.

If you could envisage at this time your child competing in State Championships then it’s very important from our planning (if you haven’t already) that they are registered here asap. It would also help if everyone could let me know if you have a Thredbo Season pass for 2020 or will need one.

Decisions around all July holiday programs at HCC will be advised in the next couple of weeks. We need more information as the main consideration is Government Policies and the opening of the resorts. If anyone requires a refund for financial reasons, please contact me and I’ll organise the transfer. Any payments made can be carried over to weekends or State.
