NSW Interschools Snowsports Championships
Sorry for no Note Day last week but we were busy at the State Championships in Perisher where 83 Redlands students from Yrs 2-12 were competing against the best in the State. Congratulations to the 60 Redlands teams who showed enormous courage and skill in the multi-discipline events against the ever increasing competition from more than 300 schools in NSW. Amazingly 48 individuals and 21 teams qualified for the National Championships next week in Mt Buller, Victoria.
National Championships
The Redlands bus leaves Monday 2 September at 1.00pm from Allister Street for Mt Buller and returns on Monday 9 September at 2.00pm. Accommodation is at the Alpine Retreat on the mountain. Final teams are now entered. The race schedule is here. Collect bibs each morning from 7.30-8.00am at the Alpine Retreat. Presentations each day are at 4.30pm at the Buller Centre.
Friends of Snowsports
The AGM will be held on 16 September at 6.00pm in H1.2. All Snowsports parents are welcome. Please come along to join the committee in 2020 or just meet the members and vote for new positions. Meetings are once a month during winter term.
All Snowsports families and competitors are invited to celebrate another fantastic season by attending the Annual Snowsports Presentation on Friday 27 September from 6.00-8.30pm at the Cammeray Golf Club.
