Welcome
Welcome to another incredible action-packed Snowsports season, and a special welcome to those who are joining our vibrant community on the slopes for the first time!
Redlands has been involved in competitive Snowsports for many years and has won numerous awards at the national level for individual events and as a school. We are committed to preparing our students to ride and ski safely and competently to enjoy this wonderful lifelong family sport.
To race, students need to confidently ski or snowboard on blue runs. The on-snow program commences with the start of the July school holiday, and if your child is keen to compete, they can enter the Redlands Cup, followed by the Sydney Interschools Championships. There are a wide variety of Ski and Snowboard events, with Redlands offering specialist training (Kindergarten-12) for participants through our partnership with Thredbo.
We are always on the lookout for parent volunteers to assist with various aspects of the on-snow events, particularly at Redlands Cup and Interschools. If you are interested in supporting the Friends of Snowsports, get in touch with Chairperson Nicky Wessels (details on the Redlands Pulse Community Page) or register interest through Snowsports registrations when they open.
When they become available, Redlands can offer Thredbo Premium Season Passes for students at an exclusive rate (2023 cost TBC), as well as group lessons when students are on our programs.
Students attending Winter School will have the Season Pass included in their fees and do not need to purchase one through the Snowsports Registrations. All other students participating in Redlands Snowsport programs are encouraged to purchase the Season Pass through us to take advantage of exclusive price.
Further details on registrations for all events will be available via Redlands Pulse in the coming weeks, but for now here is an overview of the key dates along with a few more details.
