Australian Science Olympiad

The Australian Science Olympiad exams are challenging exams held in Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science and Physics. They are the first stage in the Australian Science Olympiad Competition. 

Designed to challenge high performing Secondary School Science students, the exams last two hours and are carried out under strict examination conditions at school. Redlands has an excellent record in the competition, with recent students being invited to the selection event and some being successful in obtaining a place on the national team.

We encourage any Yr 10 or Yr 11 student who is a high attaining scientist to sign up for one or more of the exams.

2018 Australian Science Olympiad Exams Sitting Dates

Chemistry: 8 August 
Earth and Environmental Science: 10 August 
Biology: 13 August 
Physics: 15 August

The exams cost $11 per subject, except Earth and Environmental Science which is free.
