RPFA
Mother’s Day Classic
Thanks to all the participants in last week’s Mother’s Day Classic virtual race. We had 133 registered participants and raised over $3,000 for breast cancer research.
Redlands Silver Linings Cookbook
The RPFA is excited to be putting together the school community’s best family recipes made during lockdown. We are looking for at least one recipe and photo from every Year Group of any meal – breakfast, lunch or dinner. Using the template as a starting point, please save your copy as “Recipe – [your family name]” and submit to rpfavicepresident@redlands.nsw.edu.au by the end of Term 2. Thanks and happy cooking!
Book Club
The Redlands Book Club held its second meeting via Zoom and its first evening meeting last week to discuss The Single Ladies of the Jacaranda Retirement Village by local Northern Beaches author Joanna Nell. Although it was a light-hearted book, it discussed many important issues around ageing and we would highly recommend it.
Our next meeting will be held in the second last week of term to discuss the non-fiction book Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou. This New York Times best seller was named as the Financial Times and McKinsey Business Book of the Year.
Please email Lerida Grant on lerida@bigpond.net.au for more information.
