RPFA AGM – Michelle Tea, President

AGM Presentation

On Monday 4 November we held the Annual General Meeting for the Redlands Parents and Friends Association. We had a large contingent of parents attend so thank you to those who came along. Dr Lennox presented the Principal’s Report and Michelle Tea presented the President’s Report. As we had a number of new parents attend, we presented the structure and functions of the RPFA, and how it works alongside the Foundation and the School Executive. We also gave an understanding of how the RPFA operates though the Parents Coordination Group, the class parents and the Friends of Groups for Music, Sport, Drama and Ballet.  Through these operations we achieve our mission:

“To create a vibrant community at Redlands in conjunction with the Foundation and the School Executive to enable meaningful connections for our parent community with the school and our children.”

A review of the activities and achievements was presented as well as a planned structure to operate the Spring Fair next year. Finally the financial report was presented by our treasurer, Maria Kinsella. You will be pleased to know the books are in good shape!
