Pink Sock Round
Thank you to everyone who signed up to volunteer for our Redlands@Home, Pink Sock Charity Round. The response was heartwarming and we were all disappointed that the wet week meant the grounds were closed and the day was cancelled. Not all was lost however, as a BBQ was held on both the JS and SS campuses on Monday which raised $600 for BCNA and the eggs and bacon are in storage, ready for the Yr 10 sleepout breakfast this Friday morning. Everyone should be proud of how the Sports Department, Service Coordinator and Dean of Activities worked together to both reschedule so many games and make this all happen with such short notice.
Book Club
The Book Club has finished meeting for this term. Our first meeting for next term is on Wednesday 1 August when we will be discussing The Alice Network by Kate Quinn. Our second book for Term 3 is Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. Contact Samantha at sli12@bigpond.net.au.

Redlands Spring Fair
Decluttering over the July holidays? We can help! We will be accepting donations for Spring Fair on Saturday 1 September. If you have excellent quality and clean Action and Toddler toys, Board Games, puzzles, pre-loved clothes and gently used books, we’d love you to donate them on the day. Look out for more details for Donation Day in Term 3.
Over 600 Jars of Jam Ready for Spring Fair!

Parents, teachers, children, family and friends all happily participated in our two jam making sessions held in Term 2 led by a qualified Jam Maker! It was lots of fun with a great result creating around 600 jars of jams to be sold at the Spring Fair (including marmalade, lemon curd and lemon and passionfruit curd). Thank you everyone for donating your time and for being so industrious! Look out for our final Jam Making Session in Term 3!
A Big Thank You to Our Volunteers!
The Spring Fair Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank you all the parents/carers who have assisted and supported the Fair so far, in particular those who are part of their Year Level Stall Coordination teams. It is only with enthusiastic and committed parents/carers like yourself that the Spring Fair will be a success!
International Food Piazza
The International Food Piazza is a significant part of the Redlands Spring Fair and we are excited to announce we already have Japanese, Malaysian and Chinese representation. We are seeking further volunteers to help with the Malaysian Food Stall, or if you can help in any way, please email the Spring Fair Committee or volunteer now.
