Welcome Back

Welcome back to Term 4. I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday break. To our new families commencing at Redlands House this term, welcome and we look forward to your involvement within our Preschool program. Term 4 is a short and busy term. We have numerous concert rehearsals and transition to school activities for Seniors. Juniors also have sing-along rehearsals and Christmas craft, look out for lots of glitter! The Redlands House staff look forward to an exciting journey of learning with the children in Term 4.

Revision to 2020 Term Dates

Please note there has been one revision to 2020 Term Dates.

Term 3 2020 will now end on Thursday 24 September (previously Friday 25 September)
Term 4 2020 will now commence on Monday 12 October (previously Tuesday 13 October)

The 2020 Term Dates have been updated accordingly on our website and on Redlands Pulse.

Nutrition Seminar

On Friday 1 November, we are delighted to have Kate Flynn from Orbit for You give a seminar on the importance of nutrition for children. Please see Upcoming Events for more details.

Wednesday Lunch Orders for Seniors

For the remainder of Term 4, Redlands House Senior classes can order their lunch from the Canteen on Wednesdays only. Families will be able to order from a limited menu via the Flexischools online ordering system. An email has been sent to families of Redlands House Seniors with instructions and the menu. Please ensure that all orders are placed before 9.00am on the day.

New Furniture and Equipment

You may notice as you walk along the corridor in Redlands House that our old lockers have been replaced. The Maintenance department have worked diligently throughout the holiday period to have the lovely new lockers in and ready for students to use and for this we are very grateful. The final stage of this project is a wooden stain on the top of the lockers and we anticipate this will be finished by Week 3. Until this time, could we please ask that you refrain from placing any items on the top of the lockers.

Thanks to the fundraising efforts and generosity of the Redlands community from the 2018 Spring Fair, we have been able to purchase several outdoor pieces of furniture and a Water Wall. The wonderful magnetic three sided Water Wall is in the outdoor area allowing the students to investigate the properties of Science, including gravity, cause and effect and motion.
