Yr 6 and Redlands House Buddy Program

As part of the Buddy Program, Yr 6 students come to the Preschool on Thursdays to interact and share in the learning of the Redlands House children. The younger children love to engage with the Yr 6 students and they very much look forward to the time with them each week. Redlands House presented them with a small gift and a card, as a token of appreciation for their involvement with the Preschool program.

Concert Day

We look forward to welcoming you to the Redlands House Concert on Wednesday 28 November. Students are asked to come to school in their Redlands uniform and they will be given their costume. Please could long hair be tied back, off faces. Students are asked to arrive by 9.00am, where staff will have time for final preparations before a 10.00am concert start. When the concert finishes at approximately 11.00am, students will return to Redlands House for a normal school day. Should you wish to collect your child early, please do so from Redlands House, signing them out as per regulations.

Last Day Arrangements

The last day of the year for Redlands House students is 4 December. Redlands House will close after the Preparatory School Concert at 12.30pm. Please note there is no Late Room on this day. The last day for Late Room is 3 December.

Anglicare Toys and Tucker Campaign

Helping young children learn the joy of giving to others is always a delight. Redlands House children and families have an opportunity to share the joy of Christmas by giving to the Anglicare Toys and Tucker Campaign. If you would like to be involved by purchasing a toy or special Christmas food, please bring in your gifts and either give them to your class teacher or place them under the Christmas trees in the Prep or Junior School Receptions. Ideas for items to purchase can be found below.  Collections begin on Monday 12 November and conclude Tuesday 4 of December.

Standard sizes for Hampers of: Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, tinned ham, (450g), tinned salmon (415g), tea (50pk) or coffee (100g), Milo (small tin), packet of biscuits, dried pasta (500g), pasta sauce, long-life milk, custard or cream, tinned fruit and vegetables (425g), jam (500g)
Sadly we can’t include chocolate as it’s likely to melt.

Preschool: age-appropriate games, educational toys, picture books
Children: good-quality toys, outdoor games, sporting equipment
Teenagers: gift cards/vouchers, sporting equipment, toiletry packs

Vacation Care

Bookings are now open for the December/January holiday period.  Please login to Flexischools if you would like to make a booking. The closing date for all bookings will be 4 December, 3.00pm.
