Redlands House/Transition Gold

Seniors and Transition Gold Parent Teacher Interviews

Redlands House Seniors and Transition Gold Parent Teacher Interviews will take place from Monday 17 September. Bookings can be made via the School’s Interview website. Bookings have now opened, please follow these instructions to book in a convenient time for you.

Father’s Day

It was wonderful to see so many fathers at Redlands House last Friday. The children were very excited to show off their classrooms and participate together in some entertaining activities. Occasions such as this provide important links between home and preschool. Children thrive when families and educators work together in partnership to support young children’s learning.

Spring Fair Plant Purchasing

Students in the Preschool have enjoyed decorating and growing seeds for the Spring Fair. Families will have the opportunity to buy their child’s pot at the coming Fair, or the week prior. An email will be sent to all families explaining the process of buying and collecting the pots before the Spring Fair, if this is more convenient for you.

Dog Safety Program

The Senior classes participated in the Responsible Pet Education Program this week. This program assists children to develop skills and strategies for dealing with dogs, and how to stay safe around dogs.  Educating children ensures the child-pet relationship is not only physically and emotionally rewarding but also a safe one. The program allows children to become better prepared when dealing with dogs outside the home and throughout the community.

The Kids Cancer Project – Mufti Day

Next Friday 14 September, our Junior Campus students are encouraged to donate a minimum gold coin donation to wear mufti clothes with ‘a touch of gold’ as we again support the research work of The Kids’ Cancer Project, a charity that holds particular significance for our Redlands community.
