Book Week Celebrations
We are celebrating Book Week twice in the preschool this week. Children have been encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character on Tuesday and Friday so that all children have the opportunity to celebrate this fabulous educational week. Books play such an important role in the Preschool. They provide us with opportunities to introduce the children to other worlds, places, creatures and concepts. They also offer us time to slow down and connect, they support and develop language skills and inspire children’s creativity.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day
The long-awaited return of Grandparents & Special Friends Day takes place on Friday 26 August and we are looking forward to this event. Key points of information are below for note:
- Please RSVP HERE
- Prep and Redlands House guests should arrive at 9am to Prep School Reception, where they will be guided towards the oval for the parade.
- For guests who will be here for both Prep and Junior Campus visits, a morning tea has been organised to keep up the energy levels needed!
- We ask that only grandparents or special friends attend as there have been, and will be, opportunities for parents to come in at different times as we return to normal events and occasions. We are also mindful of keeping the numbers on campus and in classrooms as limited as possible.
- Guests are encouraged to wear a mask.

Term 4 After School Sport Program
Thank you to all families who have used our new registration process for the Term 4 after school sports program. Registrations will be open until 10am, 31 August.
All information regarding after school sport program can be found on Pulse. Please make sure you are familiar with the information before registering as each term we provide a different opportunity for students who would like to try a sport.
A few considerations to make before you register:
- This program is not part of the normal school day. It is a voluntary program that offers different choices each term to give a ‘taste’ of sport.
- If your child would like to develop their skill in a particular sport after the term ends, please talk to the providers as to how to join their community programs. The school program is for opportunity and experience only.
- ‘unlimited spaces’ on the registration site will remain until the site closes.
- As previously communicated, no extra spaces can be provided due to limited school space as well as ensuring we meet the regulations for staff to student ratios.
