Welcome Back!

Welcome back to Term 4! I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday break. Term 4 sis a short and busy term. We have numerous concert rehearsals and transition to school activities for Seniors. Juniors also have a Sing-a-long with families and lots of Christmas craft, look out for lots of glitter.

Wednesday Lunch Orders for Cremorne Seniors

 For the remainder of Term 4 Redlands House Senior classes can order their lunch from the Canteen on a Wednesday. Families will be able to order from a limited menu via the online ordering system. Orders can be made online using the Flexi Schools system.

 Flexischools is a well-established organisation allowing you to easily place all your canteen orders online at any time.

  1. Simply go to www.flexischools.com.au and click “Register” and enter your email address.
  2. You will be sent an email with further instructions on how to complete the registration.
  3. Fill in your details on the registration form and click submit.
  4. Add your children, select your school and their class.

Existing Flexischools users can simply ‘Add a Student’ and manage all students at multiple schools on the one account.

Once registered, you can start placing orders immediately. If you have any questions, please contact the Flexischools Customer Service Team on 1300 361 769, or you can contact them via their website.

As you can imagine not all items available at the Canteen are suitable to be transported to the Preschool. For this reason, we have a limited menu available, as per the attached list. Please ensure all online orders are completed before the 9.00am daily cut-off.

Festival of Redlands

Two more sleeps until the big day! The Festival of Redlands is going to be quite the event with a feast of things to do and experience for the whole family. Our Redlands House students are particularly proud of the class artworks that they have created.

All class art works are on display in the Prep reception for the remainder of the week and I strongly encourage all families to have a look in person or jump on the link below now as the auction is now live!

Kindergarten Orientation

On Wednesday 23 and 30 October, children moving into Kindergarten at Redlands in 2025 will have the opportunity to visit and spend some time engaging in activities and experiences in the classrooms in the Prep School. Please bring children to preschool by 8.30am. The children will then walk up to the Prep School with their class at 8.45am and will return to the Preschool for morning tea.  The children should wear mufti/ plain clothes on this day.

Junior Parent Teacher Learning Discussions

Parent Teacher Interviews for families of Junior students will be held in Week 3 of term, 28 October to 1 November. Interviews can be booked via this link. The code is 625jw. Bookings can be made from Monday 21 October at 9am to Friday 25 October at 9am.  If you’re unable to attend these interviews in person, we can arrange for the interview to be conducted via Zoom.

Seniors and PreKindergarten Gold Concert 

Costume Requirements – Each Senior and PreK child requires a white pair of pants, shorts or skirt for the concert. Can these items please be brought to school in a named zip lock bag before Wednesday 20 November. We will have a full dress rehearsal on Wednesday 20 November. The children will be provided with a t-shirt to wear for the concert.

Concert Day 27 November – Children are to arrive at school by 9am on Concert Day in their normal school uniform. The concert will begin at 10am and should conclude by 10.45am. The students will return to Preschool for the rest of the day. Should you wish to take your child home, they can be collected from the Preschool after the concert, once they have changed back into their Redlands uniform.

  • 27 November – Seniors and Transition Gold Concert 10am
  • 3 December – Last day – Half Day – 12 noon collection
