Yr 1 Camp Out
The children and staff are very excited and are looking forward to a wonderful adventure together. All Yr 1 students are to be collected at 2.00pm from the meeting trees; there will be no car line for Yr 1 students on this day. If your child is not attending camp, they will also need to be collected at 2.00pm. The weather forecast is for sunny days with a cooler evening expected on Friday. Please ensure you have some warm clothes as it can be chilly close to the beach. A huge thank you in advance to the fathers who have agreed to help with the BBQ on Saturday morning for breakfast. Please make sure you have read the note regarding what to bring for you and your child. If you have any concerns or questions, please see your child’s teacher.
Nutrition Seminar
On Friday 1 November, we are delighted to have Kate Flynn from Orbit for You give a seminar on the importance of nutrition for children. Kate is passionate about educating people about their bodies and she regularly writes and lectures for major institutions on Health and Well Being. We all know the important role nutrition plays in a child’s physical and mental development. Kate will assist us to understand how to provide the best start for our children and develop healthy eating habits. The seminar will take place in the Lucy Hill Library, in the Preparatory School at 9.00am. We hope you can join us for this wonderful opportunity.
