On the day, students will remain at school for afternoon tea and the concert, which commences at 4.30pm and is expected to finish at approximately 6.00pm. All students will need to bring afternoon tea and a water bottle. All students involved in the performance will be in designated holding rooms and will be supervised by Redlands staff. Students will be dismissed from their classrooms at the conclusion of the concert. Please note that before school, after school and lunchtime Cocurricular Music Ensemble rehearsals will be cancelled in Week 2 in order to facilitate preparation for the concert.

HICES Music Festival

Thank you to all students who applied and auditioned for the HICES Music Festival in Semester 1, where an external adjudication panel considered state-wide applicants from Independent Coeducational Schools across NSW. As part of the selection process, along with an incredibly high standard of musical ability and an overwhelming number of applicants across all schools this year, places had to be capped and, unfortunately, not all students were offered a place at the HICES Festival for Years 5-8. Congratulations to the following students who were selected to represent Redlands at the HICES Music Festival this year.

Particular thanks to the following parents who gathered together in the Music Centre on this day, including Emma McLaren (FOM President), Kristina Green, Melissa Keller, Carys Wardman-Browne, Michelle Allen and Vicky Page.
