Registrations close next week! The excitement is growing for our inaugural Redlands Music Performance Competition, and time is running out to sign up – registrations close next Monday 24 February at 8:00am.

This competition is open to all who want to showcase their talents, with a distinguished panel of adjudicators, including staff, alumni and industry professionals. Don’t miss out on this fantastic performance opportunity!

All vocalists, instrumentalists, and pianists receiving private tuition from Years 3–12 are welcome to participate (*vocalists from Years 5–12 only).

Friends of Music Meeting – Tonight!

Tonight’s the night! We are grateful for the enthusiastic support of our Friends of Music who give their time because of their belief in the importance of creativity, community and collaboration. We extend the invitation to all Junior and Secondary School parents to consider becoming one of our Friends of Music (FoM) in 2025!  To find out more, feel free to leave your details via the Friends of Music Expression Form.

Please come along on for tonight’s meeting at 6pm. We are excited for another year of music making, and we can’t wait to see you at our many events this year!

Jazz in the Garden

What’s a better way to kick off the year with a launch-of-season musical event where you can lie back and enjoy some Jazz? That’s right, Jazz in the Garden is coming on Saturday 16 March.

Jazz in the Garden is back bigger and better than before. We’re excited to be including ensembles from both the Junior and Senior Campus to launch our year. 

The following ensembles will be performing:

• Junior Jazz Band
• Junior Voices
• Senior Voices
• Jazz Combo
• Intermediate Stage Band
• Advanced Stage Band
• Intermediate Guitar Ensemble
• Advanced Guitar Ensemble

Do you have the Red Factor?! Our annual talent show is back for 2025 and we can’t wait to see a new year of exciting acts.
Please complete this Red Factor Audition Form if your child/ren are auditioning for Red Factor 2025. The audition forms are due no later than Wednesday 26 February by 10am. 

The form must be completed by the parent/carer, not the student. All other terms and conditions are on the form linked below.

Please note: students performing in a group need to complete one form each, not one form for the whole group. 

Audition Dates

• Year 3: Friday 7 March – Week 6 Lunchtime
• Year 4: Thursday  6 March – Week 6 Lunchtime
• Year 5: Monday 3 March – Week 6 Lunchtime
• Year 6: Tuesday 4 March – Week 6 Lunchtime 
  

Introducing… our Alumni Adjudicators for the Semi-Finals!

Winners of past competitions, prizes and current artists out in the field, it’s so exciting to bring back our alumni for our semi-finals of the Music Performance Competition. More information about each of these Redlanders will be given out over the coming weeks!
