Strings Concert

Strings students thrilled audiences on Monday in the annual Strings Concert. Year 2 Strings kicked things off with an impressive medley of repertoire, showcasing a year’s worth of learning their instruments. Prep Strings, Year 3 Strings, Training Strings and Junior Strings then took the stage with confidence, performing a lovely range of repertoire and demonstrating the progression of Strings learning at Redlands.

Our Junior strings students were also delighted when the Senior Combined Strings performed as well! It was an exciting opportunity for our young learners to see their potential futures as string players. Gratitude goes to the Strings team at Redlands, our student performers and of course our parent community for your support.

MIP Concert

As Note Day is released today we will have just wrapped up our annual MIP Concert for 2024. We are impressed by Yr 4 and 5 students for their commitment in preparing for such a polished performance, and we certainly encourage students to explore further opportunities for growth through the provision of private tuition and/or cocurricular ensemble enrolment.

Year 10 Elective Music Showcase

Congratulations to the Year 10 Elective Music Students for their preparation and performances at their showcase on Wednesday evening! The students were tasked with the organisation of the evening from the stunning programme, organising repertoire, compering and sound and lighting.  Thank you to the families and friends who attended to watch the performances and to their class teacher, Mr Castelli. A special thanks to Dr Eskenazi, our associate artist,  for his support and accompaniment of the students.

Senior Music Festival Theme 2025

We’ve loved our student engagement with the Senior Music Festival, with our students voting on the final choice over the last week. Our students have decided… and the 2025 theme for our Senior Music Festival will be:

We can’t wait to celebrate our students talents with great repertoire centred around music and the power it has to change our lives.

Extracurricular Music Private Tuition 2025

All extracurricular and cocurricular music tuition enrolment rolls over automatically from year to year.  Should your child wish to discontinue their extracurricular tuition, parents and carers should  complete the Notice of Change Form on the Music Pulse pages by Friday 29 November to avoid late notice charges in the new year. This greatly assists us in supporting our casual staff with work and income guarantees, and we thank you for your assistance.
