Music

Our Music team is loving seeing music students back in the classroom this week for academic lessons. Next week, private tuition and Rock Bands fire up and the following week sees our Prep, Junior and Senior ensembles kick off. An exciting year is ahead!

A new year is always an exciting chance to consider all that we want the year ahead to hold, and position ourselves accordingly at the starting line.

If not enrolled already, we hope that you might consider which Extracurricular & Cocurricular Music activities might enrich your child’s life in 2024 and beyond. Many of our participants report our programs as the highlight of the school week – affording social connectedness, rich reward for self-discipline, and immeasurable neurological benefits that enhance both academic and wellbeing outcomes.

We look forward to wholeheartedly welcoming your child within our Curricular, Extracurricular & Cocurricular offerings in 2024.

Make sure you’ve subscribed to your Campus Music Pulse page so you get all the relevant News updates.

Introducing…

Senior Percussion Ensemble

We are thrilled to announce that we are starting a Percussion Ensemble on our Senior Campus! The ensemble is open to all students of all abilities, from our most beginning to advanced students. In Senior Percussion Ensemble, students will focus on building core rhythmic and technical skills, and learning how to collaborate with both tuned and untuned percussion equipment in an ensemble setting. It promises to be a blast and highly engaging for all who join!

Senior Voices (formerly ‘Jazz Vocals’)

Our extension senior vocal ensemble, formerly known as ‘Jazz Vocals,’ has undergone a creative transformation and is now rebranded as ‘Senior Voices.’ This ensemble promises a rich and diverse selection of musical genres, spanning from Classical, Jazz, Broadway and everything in between! Stay tuned for further details on iLearn.

Symphony Orchestra

As announced last year, we are excited that Symphony Orchestra will be introduced this year and run as part of our Senior Strings program. Auditioned Wind, Brass and Percussion players will be joining our Combined Senior Strings during this time. Any new students wishing to audition can do so via iLearn.
