Farewell Yr 12! 

We are filled with mixed emotions as we bid farewell to each one of you who graduated yesterday. Your musical talents and unwavering dedication have graced our halls with beautiful melodies and unforgettable performances, and your achievements have shone brilliantly throughout this past week and beyond. As you step into the next chapter of your lives, remember that music will always be a part of who you are, and your legacy here will continue to inspire generations to come. 

Congratulations, Year 12s, and may you always remember how music can enrich your life, no matter what path you take.

Following the announcement of Captains, we are delighted to celebrate our newly elected leaders within our Music Performance program. These students will commence their roles next term. 

Both Music Captains and Section Leaders will work together to support the Music Performance program throughout the next year. We look forward to their contributions and unique voices that they will bring!

AMEB String and Brass Examinations

We wish all our String and Brass students scheduled to sit their AMEB exams tomorrow all the very best! Students and tutors have been working hard on their preparation for these exams. Thank you to everyone who supports our students, including parents and tutors. 

Fahl Garden Concert Series

We have been delighted to hear our Rock Bands performing over Wks 9 and 10. Please enjoy some of the photos from these events! 

Manly Jazz

Please come support our students this Saturday 23 September at the Manly Jazz Festival! We are so excited that our Intermediate and Advanced Stage Bands are performing at this external event. 

Our Stage Bands will be performing from 1.00pm to 1.45pm at the Stars of the Future stage, close to Manly Wharf. Performers should check the recent letter from the Music Department for more emails including meeting time. 

We hope to you there!

A reminder to keep your eye on the MUSIC EVENTS page on Pulse, to stay keep up to speed with all the latest happenings in Music! With only a couple of days left of term, we still have so many exciting Musical experiences to pack in!

Yr 8-10 Elective Music Soirées

Parents and carers of students in Year 8 – 10 Elective Music are warmly invited to attend their Soirée, where students will be showcasing their solo performances for this semester. 

Students will be performing with their classes at the following times but should arrive half an hour before their start time to warm up and support their peers in their performance.  

Notice of Change

Now is a great time to take stocktake of your child’s enrolments in our cocurricular program. Should your child no longer be attending an ensemble, we ask that you complete the Notice of Change form, found on Pulse.
